Sue and Marni's visit

Our friends, Susie and Marni, came to visit us in April... (yes we are VERY SLOW in updating our site!).
We had a great time with them... One of the highlights was doing a tour of Amador wineries-- we were picked up at the house by a limo and then chaffeured for the day- visited 5 wineries, sampled lots of good "stuff", learned some things about different wines, made some purchases, had lunch, and were delivered safe and sound back at home at the end of the day! what a treat! here are some pix from our day...

Hospital VIP Event

The construction is almost done and we finally moved into our new hospital! Last Thursday, we had our VIP Event--- it was great! My daughter Kelle and "sister" Karen flew in just to come for this...They spent the day with Connie, while I was finalizing things at the hospital, then joined me for the activities. It was great to have them here to celebrate with me!


This is the fountain that you see from our staff lounge window, inside the hospital. This is a picture of one of the center pieces for the event- they are "almond blossoms" and are native to the Yuba-Sutter area.

Thanksgiving

Connie went to Salt Lake to spend Thanksgiving with her family. Kelle and her family came to spend it with me! It was fun to have 5 days with them, here are a couple of pictures from their visit.
